Wagin Ram "Bart"

One of the Town’s major attractions, "Bart" was built locally in 1985. Thousands of tourists visit the ram annually which is located in the Wetlands Park.

Puntapin Rock is approx. 5 minutes drive south/east of Wagin and is well worth the short drive and the climb to see the fabulous 360 degree views.

Westjets are a regular visitor to Wagin's airstrip and visitors are welcome to attend.

Community Bus

The Wagin Community Bus is administered through the Shire of Wagin. The bus seats 21 people including the driver and is available for hire.

The cost of hiring is 80c per kilometre travelled (including GST) plus the filling of the tank with diesel when returned. $150 bond is payable when the keys and log sheet are collected at the Shire. The bus is to be cleaned both inside and out by the users prior to return, failure to clean the bus may result in a $50 charge. The bus is housed at the Wagin Sportsground (Agricultural Department Shed).
