Wagin Ram "Bart"

One of the Town’s major attractions, "Bart" was built locally in 1985. Thousands of tourists visit the ram annually which is located in the Wetlands Park.

Puntapin Rock is approx. 5 minutes drive south/east of Wagin and is well worth the short drive and the climb to see the fabulous 360 degree views.

Westjets are a regular visitor to Wagin's airstrip and visitors are welcome to attend.

Council & Committee Meeting Dates

The Council holds its ordinary monthly Council Meetings (generally) on the fourth Tuesday of each month except January where no meeting and December where this meeting will be held on the third Tuesday. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, 2 Arthur Road Wagin and commence at 7.00pm. All meetings are open to the public.

Residents please note all correspondence that is requested to be tabled at an Ordinary Council Meeting must be received by no later that the close of business on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception December when correspondence must be received by the first Tuesday of that month.
