NEW LOCAL LAW The Shire of Wagin Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2023 has been published in the Government Gazette and comes into force in 14 days (23 June 2023).
NEW FOOD STANDARDS New food standards apply from 8 December 2023 and apply to all food businesses. This includes retailers, school canteens, service stations that sell food, mobile vendors and caterers, as well as others. FIRE WEATHER OFFICER: Ross Goldsmith has been appointed fire weather officer for the shire. This allows some discretion to issue or authorise burn permits when fire weather warnings have been issued. More information is available in the Public notice
