Local Government Elections 2023
Council operates under a 4 x 2 Electoral Cycle which simply means Councillors are elected for 4 year terms and elections are held every two years - where half the Council will be up for election.
Local Government bi-annual elections will take place Saturday 21 October 2023. At each Election, several council positions are vacated with a call for candidates. There are to be four vacancies declared this year with nominations now closed.
