It’s time to start thinking about someone you know who is doing amazing things in our local community!
The Community Citizen of the Year Awards gives us the opportunity to celebrate the positive impact of individuals and groups who are engaged and committed to our local area. Recognising local heroes for more than 20 years, the Awards are made up of four categories:
· Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals over 16 years)
· Young Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 16-30 years)
· Senior Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 65 years and over)
· Active Citizenship (for community groups or events)
Nominations can be made for contributions to education, health, fundraising, voluntary services, business, sports, arts, culture, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that enhances the wellbeing of our community.
Nominations for the 2026 Community Citizen of the Year Awards are now open until 31 October 2025 and can be submitted at Nominate | Citizen of the Year Awards WA
