9 May 2025 is Bart the Giant Ram’s 40th birthday and to mark the occasion on Saturday, 10 May 2025 the Shire will be hosting a community birthday party. Bart was a community project, funded by the community of Wagin with groups such as Apex, Lions and Rotary leading the way but with many other supporters. The Shire has commenced planning for the occasion and has applied for a LotteryWest Grant to offset some of the costs of the big day. We have also commenced discussions with corporate sponsors. While recognising how busy you are and how precious the time of our community’s volunteers is, the Shire wishes to invite community organisations and the members of the public generally to a session planning for the event. The Shire wants to share our early plans and hear about how we can make this event a success. We hope you can join us on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 at 7:00pm at the Shire Offices.
